We've finally finished updating the Bestiary in the Wiki with all the new monsters that are coming out for the beta. Each has a little paragraph about where the monsters live, temperament, and their physical attributes.

We've been working hard on our wiki. One place that we hope will be a cornerstone of our wiki is the Bestiary. There is a collaboration of information available from the official website, as well as updates from the game itself. We hope that others will help us fill out the Bestiary when they encounter a new monster. We can't just leave it up to the alpha girl, after all.

We are proud to announce the launch of Final Fantasy XIV Players Wiki. We have been working hard to get as much content in there as possible, especially Cealia. She is the one who created our icons, as well as typed up a ton of content as well. Thanks a lot!

While there is still much to do, I hope there is enough of a base to get started on. We welcome any suggestions, of course, but feel free to jump in and get your hands dirty if you have more to add.

Last night it occurred to us that we haven't posted anything in nearly a month. With nothing coming from the official sources, we've been building up our wiki with information. We should have it ready for use in the next day or two.

It seems like the calm before the storm. The alpha client is out there and it's only a matter of time before we know more. Until then, we'll keep watching the main site and various blogs hoping to find more. Read more »
